Each instrument is solely built by one person using building materials that have been seasoned and properly dried to avoid issues with warping and cracking. The design is contemporary, however the building methods used are very traditional. Each instrument is built in a controlled environment with proper humidity levels. Special care is taken to avoid built in stress in the instrument by taking time to hand fit each part of the instrument so that high pressure clamping is not needed. This allows the instrument to freely vibrate without counter acting pressure on the wood and has a direct impact on tone, resonance, and projection.
Being a player of the instrument as well there is extra attention put into the overall shape and feel of the neck, setup of the action, and the overall tone that is produced from each instrument.
